About:Dining in Shantou

Please recommend a good restaurant for a birthday celebration for about 6 people. Staying at Jinguan Hotel, Shantou.

It is hard to tell, because I am not clear about your taste. What kind of food do you want to taste, Chinese food or western food?
As far as I know, there is a Hong Kong Style Restaurant which is located at No. 12, Ronghua Garden, Rongjiang Road and is about 150m from your hotel. The food there is not bad and I think you can have a try there.

Dear Ms Zhang,
Can you please let me know how is Jin Guan Hotel?
We plan to visit in mid July and are a bit undecided on the choice of hotel.
Would appreciate if you can share with us on what you think of this hotel.

I have experience to share. It is in very good location and the Long-distance Bus Station is next to it. However, the room is a little small, though with acceptable facilities. Anyway, the staff are friendly and helpful.
