About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

Am I eligible to get China PR?

I working here in Hong Kong since 2007-August, and I am now planning to move from here to Beijing. If I am going to work in Beijing another one or two years, Am I eligible to apply PR status in China?

I am afraid not. It is now very hard to get the permanent residence permit actually.
