travel options from hotel to airport in Bejing

I will be leaving my group early and traveling alone to the capital airport. I am an inexperienced traveler and would like some tips on traveling alone, getting through customs without incident and not missing my flight! Thank you.

As for your case, I recommend you take a taxi to travel from your hotel to the airport.
