About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Visa for China for chilean citizens

Hi, i am travelling with my husband to Hong Kong for 5 days, then we want to go to Pekin. how long does it take to apply for it? Can we apply when we get to HK? How much is it? What requirements?
Any advice will be welcome!

You are suggested to apply in Chile before leaving for HK. It is easier for you. Regular processing takes 4 working days, and you can also request express service if you need. Fee is peso 30,000 per person. Documents needed are your passport, application form, photo, return ticket and hotel bookings.
BTW, may I know how long are you going to stay in Beijing? because you may be exempted from visa if you make Beijing a transit with onward ticket to another country or back to Chile.

Hi! Thanks for your answer but I forgot to mention that I am not in Chile... i am travelling in The Philippines and I will arrive in HK April 2nd so then I want to apply for the visa. Do you think is that possible if i stay 5 days in HK?
We want to stay in Beijing for 5 days as well. We want to do some tourism also...
