About:Chinese Consulate in Perth

Hi, we are cruising Singapore to Shanghai but not flying back to Perth with cruise group

but staying on with our Australian son who lives and works in Tianjin do we need a letter of invitation from him and a copy of his Chinese visa. The cruise also visits Hong Kong in one day out the next to we double entry tourist L?

I think a single entry one is ok. Australians can stay in HK for 90 days at most without visa as long as they have valid passports.
