Irish tourist looking for Chinese tourist visa

Hello there
I have an Irish passport and would like to get a L type one for China in The Chinese Embassy in Nepal. Is this possible?
Do I need proof of all my hotel stays in China as I have not planned out my entire trip yet.
Many thanks
Lisa.

Is this your first time that you have been to China? If so, an invitation letter is needed. If you can't offer the invitation letter, please provide a visa recommendation letter from the applicant's employing company, organization, etc. Under some circumstances, addtional documents like bank statements, round-trip air tickets booking will be required.

Sorry Peter I meant a tourist visa. Do I still need a letter of invitation? It is my first time visiting China and hope to travel within PCR for four weeks then fly home to Ireland.
Thanks for all the help.

Hi Lisa, if you have flight tickets and hotel bookings, invitation letter is not mandatory for tourist visa application.
