how to reach Shaolin temple,Dengfeng,Henan from nanjing by train.and where shall i stay?

I want to visit Shaolin temple,yellow river bank and some places within two days(from saturday morning 8AM to Sunday night 10 PM.I will start from Nanjing station.Which city is best to stay zhengzhou or dengfeng?
