There is no direct bus between the two places. You may need to go to Lvchun in about 12 hours and stay one nigh there. Then take buses to reach Yuanyang from Lvchun.

You can take the bus which goes all the way to Hekou (border with Lao Cai,Vietnam) and drop off at Nansha, (Yuan Yang town).This bus leaves Banna Bus Station at noon ( on the express highway) & arrive at midnight in Hekou. My eta at Yuan Yang Town is 9.00pm & you can easily find your up the mountain to Yuan Yang proper. Have a pleasant trip!!
