Multi Entry for China

Can anyone tell me if a multi entry for a New Zealander into China is just for entry within the 3 month period or, once you have left China and return back into China do you then get another 3 months making the visa for a 6 month period in total? I hope that makes sense to someone

Hi, multi entry is good for 6 months or one year. That means the validity is either 6 or 12 months. For the duration of stay each entry, it will be issued, like 30 days or 60 days. That means you can stay full days of duration each entry, and enter again to start a new 30 days.

Thanks Martin for your reply. Just one more question........is that for a Canadian passport holder or for a New Zealand passport holder? I have a feeling that each country is different. For example I know that you can get an American multi entry for one year at 30 days each time but for some reason I know that you cannot get that in NZ. It seems to be just a one off. Its frustrating because I cannot seem to get any answers from the NZ embassy.
Thanks again

It depends, but it is true that consular officers have the final say to your application based on documents you provided.
