I have been reading all the options but cannot find a good route in to the city, is it best for me to take a taxi? It is my first time in Guangzhou, normally I go through Hong Kong and I take Airport Express to the city but cannot see a subway line that takes me to the city without changing lines.

Subway line 3 is very convenient to take you from the airport to the city. But as you have so many luggage, to take a taxi may be the best way. Anyway, would you tell me the location of your hotel? Then I can make it clear.

Well, as for your case, I suggest you take shuttle bus line 5 and get off at Haizhu Plaza Station, which is only about 350m from your hotel. After your getting off, you can walk there by asking the local people or the hotel staff about the specific directions and location. This approach is relatively easy and convenient. The shuttle bus costs about CNY20.

I am one adult with two suitcases and hand baggage I need best way to get to my hotel in the city?
