About:Chinese Consulates in Japan

Australian citizen studying in Japan wants to attend trade show near Beijing

I am an Australian citizen and I will be studying in Japan for the next twelve months. During this time I would like to attend a trade show in Qingdao at the end of May. Can I apply for a visa while I am in Japan? I will have an alien registration card in Japan
