Visa to china for a french passport holder

Hi There
I'm a french passport holder and I'll be in a business trip in Seoul next week I would like to go to Shanghai for the week end.
Can you please let me know if I can get a visa not having the alien registration card in south korea as I don't live there

I am afraid not. ARC valid for more than 6 months is required for application in South Korea if you apply with French passport.
