best time to visit yunnan

This is my first visit to Yunnan.  Pls advise best time to visit and what is the temperature in day & night in August.How many days needed for Dali, Lijiang and Kunming?

Generally speaking,  Nov. to June in the next year is the best travel season. Personally, around May and June is highly recommended. In August, the temperature range between the daytime and night is 17C to 27C.I suggest you spend two days in Dali, three full days in Lijiang and one to two days in Kunming. If you have time left, Shangri-la is also a worthy destination, which deserves two days' travel.
