Am i capable of having a dependant visa in China, though we are not yet married?

My Boyfriend/ Live-in partner is going to move in China later this year, and he asked me if i want to go, and so i said yes. My anxiety is that, can i able to get a dependant Visa eventhough we are not yet married but we are living together as a partner and the Company, as he said will pay for the expenses? Will it be possible to China that i can apply for a dependant pass? thanks a lot.

No, accompanying family members need to provide proof of relationship for application, so you can not apply as a dependent if you do not have marriage certificate. If the company will pay for the expenses, you may try to apply for a business visa with an invitation letter from them.
