About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

Would like to go to China over our spring break -March 28th-April 7

I have purchased a plan ticket for my 15 year old son and I. We would like to join my husband (who is attending a conference) in Beijing. We would like to do a tourist visa.
We are US Citizens who reside in Dubai. Do we need a it? How long does it take to get one? Does my 15 year old need to accompany me to the Embassy to get it? CAn I have an appointment on Thursday, March 7th to get it if required. Thank you. Paula Barry 971 56 137 1146

You need visa to China, as you said, tourist visas are ok. I am not sure if your husband has got his already or not, if not, he can apply for you two as well on your behalf from the embassy. No need for an appointment, application can be lodged to the consular office during their working hours.
