I'm afraid not. China's power outlet is different from that in Australia. You may need to buy an adaptor.

The picture showing a Chinese Standard outlet is exactly the same as that in Australia, I don't know why Gloria still says you need to buy an adaptor

Gloria and this article are not completely correct. The Australian plug fits, though the pins on the Chinese plug are thinner and 1 mm (0.039 in) longer. China also uses American/Japanese NEMA 1‐15 sockets (2 parallel flat pins) I've also seen UK plug near Hong Kong and round pin Euro plug. Some hotels have wall sockets that accept all 3. The voltage at a Chinese socket of any type is 220.

It all seems very confusing. There are different answers everywhere.
Australia has 240 volts so that should be close enough without an adaptor.
Does China use the same power plugs as other parts of Asia.
