About:Taiwan Travel Tips

Danshui and Hualien

I havent been to these parts of taiwan and I would like to know

1) how much time should i spend in danshui to cover the places of interests and food?
2) what time should i visit danshui, is late afternoon alright?
3) what can i do in Hualien at evening/night time besides going to night market? Any attractions to visit?

I suggest you spend two whole days in Danshui to enjoy yourself and cover the majoy must-see sites. When (Which month) will you visit Danshui by the way? Anyway, I prefer to wander in the afternoon with pleasant temperature by bike.

We have to admit that the night market of Hualien really should not be missed. You will have a very good time there. Except that, the night view of Hualien is also very jice. If you stay in a room from where you can have a bird view of Hualien, it can be better.

Right. If there is any place where you can enjoy and visit at night in Hualien, Yiyuan Resort may be a good choice.

Hi lisa, thankyou for your help. I will be going at the end of march! Will plan a one or two days trip to danshui. As for hualien, i have already booked a simple minsu to stay. I have two nights there, planning to visit night market on one night and maybe relax and enjoy the scenary on the second. Any recommendations? I am travelling with family

If you stay Hualien for two days, the Whale Word and rafting on Xiuguluan River are highly recommended for you. The rafting can be arranged on the second day.
