1.what was the Great Wall used for? 2.how was it built[what materials]? and 3.how long was it?

hi,my name is Rachel and I'm doing a report on the Great Wall of China and I need some answers to these questions.

the geart wall was used to protect the people of china

and at first it was made of dirt and rocks but now out of briks

the Great Wall is a united system against invasions from the north. By the 1500s, Ming wall-builders had began using stone and brick. It is 21196.18 kilometer.
