The latest weather forecat shows that the lowest temperature during March 7-10 is around 0C and the highest temperature is about 15C. So it is still a little cool. You can take long thick overcoat or leather jacket, cardigan and thick jeans. For the elderly, down jacket might be necessary.

As for Shanghai during March 10-15, the temperature range is about 7-18C. A light sweater, light coat and jeans are appropriate.
