About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

How many times can I extend my L(marriage visiting)visa be exnteded in china?

My wife is chinese nationality,and am Nigerian,we are living in china,my first visa F was changed to L (6months)after marriage,and have been extended once(one month with 0entry),my question is:
1.Can I still extend again?
2.how many times can marriage L visa be extend,or must need go out of china?
3.Is there any way can get visa extension with long say.

L type usually can be extended two times. Then you have to leave China and apply for new L visa.

hi I am Sri Lankan married to chinese and living in Shanghai. Well this type of visa as mention can be extended only 2 times I am the same but i confirmed from the exit entry department if i can get more than 6 months as now i have 6 months with 1 entry. they said yes if my marriage certificate is authorized that means i have to go where my wife birth place to get it approved and get it as all chinese marriage certificate then i can get for 1 year and no need to leave the country to get new visa coz our marriage has be certified here in china

One more question,
what if I ask my suppliers(cooperating company) help me change my L(marriage visiting visa) to F,and extend it as reason for business purpose.

Well you can get help from an Agent but they will see if it is possible for you to get F visa because F is only for business as you know . And for some countries F is not possible to get inside mainland. outside mainland is ok different poilcys for different countries

r is my husband came china with f visa after marridge changed to be L Visa but can not change back to F Again …thouh we have complete documents from suppliers confirm we are doing business with them and L extension must go back toextend at my birth place immigration …hope can be helpful !!
