My husband and I will travel to Beijing end of July where I will take up a teaching position.Do we need to travel interstate to attend a face to face interview for the single entry Z class Visa?

The embassy in Canberra processes applications from Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Northern Territory. Thus, I am afraid you have to go there for the interview if you are required to do it.
