how can i get a long-stay visa

My husband is studying in China. I need to go to stay with him for 1 year.  How can I apply visa for it. What Type of visa it is and What processes do I need to follow up. Thank you

You may try to apply for a family visit visa. The process is a bit complicated. You are required to provide orginal and copy of certified Marriage Certificate when you apply for it. (The certificate should be translated into Chinese) Your husband is required to offer a copy of his passport and resident permit. Sometimes, his school has to prepare an official letter.
