Can you recommend any small, unspoilt villages to visit in Shandong?

Hello. I read about an old village somewhere near Jinan (about 45kms to the east, I think). I can't remember the name of it - can you help? I am going in about a week. thankyou

I am not very clear about the east side of Jinan, but I know two villages on the south side of the city. Shuiquan Village, Family Liu Village and Waishi Village are all nice places to visit.

I only know the transport to Waishi Village. From Tai'an, you can take a train to Jinan first. Then it is about 25km from Waishi Village, so you can take a taxi to reach there exactly.
Or Jinan bus no. 67 can take you to Xipo Village, which is only 3km from Waishi Village.

I know a village, about 20km eastwards Jinan. It is West Caishi Village, which is very famous in Jinan. Jinan bus no. 303, 305, 306 or 136 can take you to Caishi Town directly. Then you can take a taxi to reach the village.
