Single Entry Visa - 30 days duration

Im an Indian national going to HK for a short term assignment. I have been issued a single entry visa (entry between Feb 06 and May 6) with stay for max duration of 30 days.

My original plan was to stay in HK from Feb 24 to Mar 31, which makes the duration 37 days. Can I just go to Macao before the expiry of 30 days and upon return, will I get a tourist visa on entry for another 7 days.

You can extend your stay from HK immigration Department if you need to stay over 30 days.
