About:China Consulate in Houston

My wife came to United States from China on fiance' visa.

We did get married in America and want to go to China to visit her family. Does she need to change her passport that still has her maiden name, or she will need to replace the passport with the new married name.

She needs to apply name change amendment for her passport in person from Chinese consulate.
