Can I bring barbecue pork into China?

Hi,
I am visiting Xi'an and Beijing in April 2013 and am planning to bring barbeque pork (1kg) from Singapore as a gift for friend's family. Is it allowed under China customs law?

Thank you.

I'm afraid barbecue is not allowed to take in.
