Best Way from Guilin to Hong Kong in May

Hi, I suggest you take a direct airplance from GL to Shenzhen first. Then take the airport shuttle bus to Shenzhen Railway Station, from where you can walk to Luo Hu border. Crossing the immigration border, and you will be in Lo Wu, hong kong, where you can catch East Rail Line to reach HK city center.

Thank you very much, Lisa,for your quick reply. I noticed that for Shenzhen I have two options, one flight early morning and one at midnight. Taking the latter I would have more time in Guilin but would have to wait all night in Shenzhen for the first train to HK. Flying from Guilin to Guangzhou and taking the train from Guilin East to HK (Kowloon), apparently well connected by Metro from Airport South, offers more flexibility. Finally there would be also be a direct flight from Guilin to HK!? ;-) My choice is based on my wish to see and experience as much as possible while travelling!
