communication issues

I am going to be visiting Ningbo in a few months but I do not speak and understand Chinese. Can you share with me the difficulties of foreigners visiting the country in terms of communication. Do you have English signages and would asking around in English be difficult? Thank you.

Hi, don't worry too much! Generally, there are English signages at the major attractions. Some of the buses also broadcast both in Chinese and English. If you meet difficulties, you can ask toung people for help. They can communicate with you well to some extent.
To make sure everything to go smoothly, I suggest you book hotels or air/train tickets in advance if necessary.
