Im a dragon and my boyfriend is a rooster. Im a yang and my boyfriend is a yin. are we compatible?

I'm the opposite. Is there any difference? (Rooster woman, Dragon man). I read that she's supposed to be submissive and compliment him, and he tends to have ego issues.
