i'm going to qingdao this summer. when is the best time?how many days is required?

I'm going to there this summer. I'm considering late June, July or late August. When is the best time out of my available times? It's listed above that the last 2 weeks of August is the best time, but how is the weather? Is it really hot compared to cities like Beijing? Also, how many days is required to do a proper sightseeing trip to the city? Thanks in advance
