can I renew L type 60 days visa, another month or 2 ?

I got the visa in Mongolia, for 60 days, ending the 20 of february, and I will like to have 1 or two month so I can go to the border with Laos by bicycle.......
Can i do that in any city of China ?
How much should i pay?

Hi, you can extend your current L for one more month in China, but in the city where you stay, with temporary residence form got from your hotel. To secure this, you should provide financial support for your stay with a bank account with at least RMB 20,000. Fee charged for extension is about RMB 160.
