Tianjin tour

Hi, we are on a cruise to Tianjin, and woulds be staying for 3 days(April 20-22), please advise all attractions we shouldn't miss. I would we have time to travel to Bejing for a day trip? If so, how should we get there? By coach or train, how long does it take? and how do we get to the station from the cruise ship terminal.
Thank you in advance for all your informations, and looking forward to hearing from you.

In Tianjin, Huangyaguan Great Wall, Dagu Fort and Ancient Culture Street are highly recommended.
It is OK to have a day trip in Beijing. You can go to TJ Railway Station to take bullet train to reach Beijing directly in about half an hour.
From the cruise ship terminal, you can take a taxi to reach Citizen Square where you can take the local Light Rail to reach TJ Railway Station.
Hope you have a nice trip in Beijing and TJ.

The part of the Great wall is worth seeing but its an hour out of the city -best to hire a car/driver or negotiate with a taxi ... otherwise suggest in the city ex - Italian concession and
walk down chief fang Pei lu ... close to the railway station across the bridge.. ex French
concession - Rue de France - which cuts into ex Victoria Rd- ... visit the newly renovated
Astor htl & pay the outlandish price to visit museum in hotel - many foreign dignitaries stayed there ... including Herbert Hoover I believe... just further down to the right to
Kiesslings - see the new concert hall. The local museum is also worth seeing not far by
taxi but you/d have to ask for the Chinese name
