Multi entry tourist visas

Hi,

My girlfriend has a permanent teaching job at a international school in shenzhen and I work in the mining industry and I work on a 4 weeks on and 1 week off basis in west Australia. Can I obtain a multi entry visa so that i can fly to shenzhen and visit my girlfriend on my time of every month???

Hi, if you want to visit shenzhen SEZ only, you are able to get a Shenzhen visa on arrival. But the SEZ visa allows 5 days stay only.
You can try to apply for a multiple Chinese visa, but if it is your first time to visit China, you may only able to get a single or double entry.

Hi,

Thank you for your speedy reply.

So if i gained a single or a double entry visa a few times would that then make it easier to apply for a multiple entry and how many single or doubles can i get??

To apply for any of these visa what is the waiting time and is it all done online or do i need to send my passport away??

Thank you again very much for your help.

Yes, if officers notice that you have been issued China visa in past few months, I mean at least twice, you can request a multiple entry and it is easier if you can provide invitation letter from her or her school. For the application itself, the processing takes 4 working days, and it can be done quicker with expedited service. If you are residing within consular district of Chinese consulates in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you can apply by post, then it takes 10 working days. Online appointment is required.

Hi,

Thank your very much for your help.

Getting letters from my GF and from the school is no hassle and i guess i will have them ready for any visa i apply for so that it makes things easier and states my purpose of travel.

For application do i have to have flights and hotel booked or can i apply for it and then book flights/accom??????

Does the visa come back in an electonic form or do i actually have to send my passport away each time i apply?? and what is an online appointment???

thank you very much.

Regards,

Josh

Hi, if you have invitation letter and a copy of inviter's passport, work permit and valid visa, it is not necessary to book hotel and flight before application. But make sure the invitation letter should include following information:
1. the details of invitee: name/sex/date of birth/passport number, the purpose of the visit to China/date of arrival and departure/the address of the accommodation/the relationship between inviter and who will cover the travel expense.
2. the details of inviter: name of inviter/contact number/address/ stamp or signature of inviter. )

You need to make an appointment at CVASC's website and submit your passport and all requirements to the centre. The visa will be sticked to the passport.
