born on 5 Jan 1959, like to know if it is wise to quit my state officer job and go freelance

Is it ok if I let go of the safety and accept the challenge? What are my prospects for the private job for this year? thanks.

It is not suggested to change a new job in 2013. If you do not quit, you may get a promotion in 2013.
