Is there long distance bus to go to Danshui (Huiyang) in Huizhou from Shantou?

How frequence and how long is the journey?

You can go to local General Passenger Terminal to take buses for Danshui directly. It cost about four hours to reach Danshui and the bus timetable is 08:00, 09:30, 14:40 and 16:40.
