About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

China Visa for Malaysian

As I haven't booked my flight and hotel accommodation, may I know what are the documents I need to prepare?

What visa do you want to apply? For L type, you need to offer passport with at least 6 months validity and two blank pages, completed visa form with recently taken passport photo on it. In some circumstances, you need to offer an invitation letter or round-trip air tickets & proof of accommodation.

As from Dec 1st 2012, an applicant needs to provide: i) return flight tickets, ii) hotel reservation(s), and invitation letter is an added value. You can go online: www.visaforchina.org. After completing the relevant documents, you may submit to Chinese Visa Application Service Centre, 2nd Floor OSK Building, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
