Hello, Eneko, I just returned a few monthes ago.
Simon is right and the direct buses between the two places started operation in 2010, but it stopped because the tourists are not so much. I heard it from the staff in the Fenghuang General Passenger Terminal.
So you may need to choose other transportation methods.
