Jewellery Wholesalers closed for how long during Chinese New Year?

Hello,
I shop in Guangzhou for wholesale Jewellery - when will the wholesale markets be closed for Chinese New Year?
Can I work on closed between 9-15 February or do they close even before that, or open even later than that?
Am coming a long way from South Africa and don't want to waste my trip :-)
