I'm an Indian and in a process of getting a China Visa for a business visit through my office.

I will be visiting my branch office in Shenzhen, China. I'm in process of applying for Visa. The agent says he needs a 6 month bank statement. is that needed? He also says that the Bank balance should be more than 1.6Lakhs INR. Is that really needed when my whole expenditure would be taken care by my office?
