About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Can I travel with a pet in the soft sleeper car?

I am planning on going to Guangzhou from Guilin on February 7, right before the Chinese New Year. Can I travel with my pet cat in a soft sleeper car? Are pets allowed in the train? Do I need a special permission or ticket for my pet?

Hi, animals are not allowed in the passenger carriages, but can be consigned from the starting station of a train which has a freight carriage. The animals must be caged and consigned 4 hours prior to the departure time with the quarantine and disinfection certificates.
