About:Best Time to Visit Beijing

Visiting Beijing in May

I plan on visiting the city in May 7-13 and visiting Xian too. Are sandstorms likely in early May? Will the May holiday be over by then or will there be lots of crowds and heavy traffic?

The sandstorm always falls on April, so May is a good time to visit BJ. The average temperature is around 20C.
The crowded time of May is from May 1st to May 3rd which is the holiday time, so the time you come is not the crowded time.
