Can a visa application be made by post? How long does it take and what is the cost including postage

If you mean to apply through CVASC in UK, yes, they provide postal service, but you should prepare the stampted royal mail special delivery envelope for return delivery. A single entry is DBP 74 for a single entry. The processing takes 5-14 days.
