Double/multiple entry visa application submitted where?

Hi,

I have been formally invited to visit my friend in China at least twice within the next six months. Thus, I want to apply for a double or multiple entry visa. I am non-Korean citizen but I have F4 visa status in Korea.

Where do I submit my application? Embassy, consulate or travel agency?

Thanks!

You should usbmit your application through one of the travel agencies listed here http://kr.china-embassy.org/chn/lsqz/ls_qz/ls_qz_13/t229558.htm

Ah, I see, thank you!
I live outside Seoul, so If I opt to do only one trip, my local travel agent says she can do a 'single entry visa application' for 60,000 won. She is not sure if she can do a double entry, though.
So I guess other agencies than the ones you listed are entitled to submit applications?
Or, what is your opinion? Is my local agent able to help, or not?

Let me ask in a different way:
MUST I submit my application through an agency?
Or, may I submit it directly at the embassy/consulate?
Thus, saving money...
Thanks for a great Q&A service!

Yes, it is required to apply through a travel agency in South Korea. I understand it may cost much, but this is embassy/consulate requirements. The ones on the list are appointed by embassy, so you'd better apply through any of them.
