About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Just got married to a chinese women, and trying to figure out , how i can stay longer in china.

Hello, i am from America under 30 years old, and have recently married with a chinese wife. Is there anyway i can get a residency permit, or a new L-visa, my current visa will expire in less than 2 months. Also i have gone to the local police stationa and they have given me a "registration form of temporary residence" what is this? I live with my wifr, and i am looking to stay in china for a long time with her. Also is there any specific visa i should apply for?

You are not able to get a permenant resident permit of China soon after your marriage with a Chinese. Only if you have to first live in China for a continous five years and prove you are a desirable person, then you are qualified to apply for the permenant resident permit. At present you can only live in China with the temporary permit. You may get more info. here https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/family-visit-permit.htm
