About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

How to apply if I need my passport every day?

I'm a pilot, so I need my passport everyday, can't leave it even for 3 working days. Is there a one-day service issue in the UK or in Ireland?

Yes, you can request urgent service for processing. Generally, you can collect your passport and visa in the afternoon of the very day if you can lodge in application before 11:00.

May I know what passport do you hold? Because from July 5, 2012, the expedited service had been suspended by the embassy for applicants from some Schengen countries including: Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, France.

I have a uk passport but i work in ireland do would be easier to have it done in dublin i could go myself if they offer one day service.

If you plan to do it in Dublin, you will have to wait for two working days to get the visa even if you use the rush service.
