About:Mount Huashan

Huashan in January

I am going to Xi'an in few days. I hate too cold weather of winter and don't prepare for snow. Is it dangerous to go there during this time. I like mountains and have a lot of impression from Huangshan. Do you think that going to Huashan can satisfy me as well as Huangshan?

Hi, it is cold at the mountain indeed these days, with the temperature ranging from -3C to 8C. No snow happens and will happen recently. If you wanna go there, down jacket and thick sweater are suggested for climbing.

As January is the low season of the mountain, the scenery there is not that attractive as other seasons. If you seek for best view, I don't think it will perfectly meet your demand.
