About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

I am a travel agent with clients travelling on the Queen Mary 2 from Hong Kong to Brisbane,

In December I had my clients apply for and were issued single entry visa's for their 2day/1night stop in
Shanghai. We are now being advised that they need multiple entry. is this correct and if so will the fee already paid be used as a credit for the multiple entry? Given that the ship is not leaving port and clients will only be in and around Shanghai my understanding is that only a single entry is required.

If the cruise will stop in different cities in mainland China, then they need multiple entries visa. The fee is not refundable or as a credit for the new visa.

Thank you for the reply, the clients are only stopping in Shanghai, no other stops in Mainland China.

Then I think you are right that a single entry one is enough. You should clarify this to the visa office of PRC in Hk.
