When is the winter season and does it snow in Guangzhou?

From November to the January the next year, it is the winter time. As far as I know, it did not snow yet in Canton. It never snows in winter in that city.

I am afraid not. It seldom snows in these southern cities. I suggest you go north further to enjoy snow, such as Shenyang and Harbin.
