Departure flight to Hong Kong

Hi I am a little confused. Is it possible to do the visa free stay if my departure flight goes to Hong Kong or comes through Hong Kong. For example Hong Kong - Beijing - London. Or London - Beijing - Hong Kong. Your advice would be much appreciated. Thansk

Hi, you can stay 180 days without visa, if you hold a British passport. You can also check this page: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/hongkong-visa-free.pdf
