Can I apply for entry visa online or on arrival at Guangzhou?

I am based in South Australia and there is not a CVASC here. Travelling to HGK but will catch train to Guangzhou for two nights.

You can't get the visa online or on arrival at Guangzhou. You should apply for it from the Embassy of PRC in Canberra or in Hk before your trip to Guangzhou.
